Can AdSense get you more clicks in a forum?

The AdSense ads are contextual based, and usually in a forum AdSense will have difficulty in serving relevant ads.Assuming a discussion is streamlined to the relevant topic, most forums deal in things like entertainment and games, so the ads served may be ads, related to,wallpaper, etc.Forums do get a large number of visitors everyday. But then, getting a large number of visitors, daily,is of no use, even if it is a very popular forum,if the visitors, have no intention on clicking ads, simply because they are not relevant or/and ads that aren't attractive to click on.All these do not make AdSense worthwhile to paste on forums. Take for example a forum under " Procard International Work From Home Career" ....http:// workforself.biz/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1193725116 ....Google is serving ads such as "wheel verification","verification definition"Sherlock.uk".This is the same for most of the pages other than the home page where the ads appear to be targeted. Now me as a visitor, will very definitely not click on such ads simply because they are totally irrelevant. One can therefore say that,99% of the time AdSense does not perform well for the publisher in terms of revenue in a forum.Having said that,a forum which is purely based on Q&A, where people are ask questions such as "Can anyone recommend a lodge in India?" could do to do a bit well. However it is still better to go in for a blog or site if you as publisher want to make a reasonable amount from AdSense.
