Keywords that have stiff competition,r the keywords are the ones that you should target in your content as,they have the power to fetch you more traffic.

A keyword that has not been explored by many advertisers but that which surfers are searching for,is called a niche keyword.Try building content based on at least 15 such low competition keywords.This could bring you more traffic than what you get by targeting just one keyword that has high competition among the advertisers. But here you have to be sure that the keywords fall into this category....for this you have to know what is it that is being searched for,and what content could be written,that could possibly match that search word.Based on these keywords build your site and give the searchers what they are looking for and be exhaustive about the content.This will get u more traffic,more back links,and therefore more traffic,again leading to relevant advertising and therefore more possible clicks.CPC (Cost Per Click)

IMPORTANT TERMS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE-- CPC or Cost Per Click refers to the maximum amount of money that an advertiser is willing to pay per click on their ads.

Higher CPC means higher EPC (Earnings Per Click) for you.

Clicks per month(CPM) refers to the number of clicks the highest ad gets in a month in Google Adwords System. Targeting keywords that don't get much clicks might lower your Adsense income. Target those keywords that have a larger commercial traffic. Higher the number of clicks, more effective a keyword is for adsense. Also, More clicks a keyword attracts, higher CTR you can expect for that keyword.

Bidders- Refers to the number of Advertisers bidding on a keyword. This by far is the most important figure required while choosing keywords for Adsense.

Existing in Google Adwords system are that keywords that do have high CPC like $45+ but no advertisers bidding on them. So when there are no advertisers bidding on a particular keyword no one is going to pay you like $10 or $45 ,even if you target that keyword.

Average CPC is the average of what all the advertisers bidding for the given keyword.
