Anyone can`start a blog.but can everyone be successful?To be successful as a blogger-- 1.Choose a topic you are knowledgeble about and have a passion for.If you choose something you do not know anything about,sooner or later,you willl run into a blank wall and lose your visitors. 2.Your blog should be posted with a relevant topic,if possible every day or several times during a week.Careful while doing this...it will be very tempting to copy someone else's work as yours,to save yourself a bit of time.If you are lazy,forget about making it big as a blogger.Fresh original content is what you must aim for.I would suggest that you spend a minimum of 2 hours at least on your blog and another hour for promoting your blog.If you thinking that writing a few lines as a post and then forgetting it until next time,you could never be more wrong. 3.Be an expert in what you are writing about.I mean believe in what you are writing about.Remember that there are guys who know better than you,or act as if they know better.Some are genuine experts,and some like to believe they are experts.It is "the ones who like to believe they are experts"most likely to give you trouble.Genuine ones normally do not question you when they know you are right.Always anticipate that someone is going to tear apart your blog posts,and unless you can justify what you have written,you did look like a complete fool and your readers will run off from you. I would like to give a short example...Else where i took part in a discussion forum and addressed a query>> I want change my payee name.Possible? Almost everybody there answered it this way>>According to adsense you can't change payee name.You know what i said ?..that it is possible to change the "payee" name.Well the moment i replied that way,one guy got ready to tear me apart saying,what i said was completely wrong and the Adsense TOS does not allow payee name change.Know what i did....This was my reply...I run a site on AdSense,and do you think i will go around telling people that a non-existent link exists when it does not?I stand by what i have said.For those who want to change their Payee name there is a direct link on my blog on the side bar to make the request to Google.Otherwise one may follow the link i have already given here to make the request.In further clarification of my point that the Adsense payee name can be changed------True that as per the Adsense TOS in order to protect accounts, publishers are not allowed to change payee names from their accounts.BUT THERE IS A WAY OUT> If you have a genuine reason to change your Payee name you can make your request on a separate form which is available on the link i have specified above and on my blog for the purpose.However you will not be allowed to make the change if:1.The change is required because you are trying to sell your Adsense account,which is not permitted as per the TOS.2. You already have another AdSense account under that name.Google will make the necessary changes to your Payee name if you are outside the 2 points mentioned above and will send a seperate confirmation email once the change is made.Once the change is made,you'll also need to re-enter your tax information and form of payment.Again in case you have already received a payment bearing the old payee name,which you cannot deposit, you may request a reissue,after the 25th of the month following your payment.Hope i have made everything clear.Pls understand that when i give a reply to any question it is based on facts and not imagination,where i cannot or do not have a reply,i do not give half baked information,wasting the precious time of the person asking the question."WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE A THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE WRITING ABOUT. 4.If what you have written is genuinely wrong,and someone has pointed it out,don't get angry,thank him/her and admit your mistake openly.This will build your reputation as a honest blogger in the long run. 5.Be patient when you run a blog.Do not expect immediate results.
