About PIN and How to Request a new one

Once your adsense account accrues $50 a PIN will be generated and sent via first class mail within 3-5 days. You can view the date on which it was generated by clicking the "Please enter your PIN" link on your Payment History page. It can thereafter take 4 to 6 weeks to reach your address.The PIN process is to strengthen the security for payment process and also the verification of the publisher addresses and protect the personal information of the publishers.It is only when the PIN is entered that the payments are cleared by Google,ie., it is only when you enter the PIN you will be sent the your earnings cheque.However you will be able access your account,continue to show ads on your site and accrue earnings.If you do not recieve the PIN within 3 weeks(you have to wait for 3 weeks) after the last PIN was mailed to you,then you may need to reapply for a new one from Google. Follow instructions of Google on how to apply for a new PIN:"If you haven't received your PIN, or if it has been lost, you're welcome to request up to two additional PINs. Note that you'll need to wait 3 weeks after your last PIN was mailed before requesting a new one."You have 180 days to enter the PIN mailed to you or request a replacement PIN. If you fail to enter your PIN within this period, your account will be disabled and the amount you have earned, returned to concerned advertisers. To request a new PIN: Log in to your AdSense account at >My Account>Payment History page>Please enter your PIN link> Request a new PIN.
