How to succeed with PPC

If you do it the right way PPC ads can bring you lot of traffic with conversions.Done the wrong way you will get traffic but very little or no conversions.A PPC campaign costs money which can run upto quite a bit if you do it the wrong way.If you have run a PPC campaign you must have at one point or the other come across the situation of getting lot of traffic but no sale/conversions.Here you lose a lot of money with nothing to show for it.You must realize here that you have not planned your campaign properly. The points to be considered for running a successful PPC campaign are:Don't just join any PPC program just because they come cheap. It could prove costly in the long run.A very small ppc search engines may not get many visitors, and further their anti-click fraud system may not be upto the mark and may lead to a heavy drainage of your ad budget without much or no results/conversions. So choose a reputed PPC program. Here is a list:1.ADWORDS: 2.BIDVERTISER: 3.YAHOO :Yahoo! Search Marketing offers two ways to sign up for Sponsored Search. Compare the plans and decide which one is right for you. Then you can either sign up online or over the phone. A PPC program targeted by you with a wrong set of keywords will get you no traffic and so no conversions.Do not go around bidding on all keywords you can think of.For example just punch in "ppcdollar"on the google web search box and you will find this site on the first page of google.Of course my site is on the first page for certain other keywords too,but iam not running a ppc campaign. What iam trying to impress is that a single targeted keyword is all that is required to bring, relevant visitors to your site.Again when you bid for alot of keywords remember that you'll be paying for every single click.Bid for keywords that are likely to attract relevant visitors who might be actually interested in what you have to offer.Select that keyword often be used by web surfers. How much to pay per click? This is a question which will,if judged correctly, will give you the maximum return on your campaign investment.Screw it up and stand to lose time and money. Suppose you aim to make a profit of $60 per sale and if you need 100clicks to generate one sale, then you can pay a maximum of 60 cents per click if you don't want to lose money. So to get the maximum possible return from your campaign cost your formula should be:PROFIT PER SALE/CLICKS PER SALE = MAXIMUM COST PER CLICK( $60 / 100 = $0.60)
